Little Lily’s Academy

It was a pleasure to create this new website for the Braintree-based Nursery school, Little Lily’s Academy. 

The website contains a comprehensive amount of information about the Academy, from Parental Information, Policies, to a blog for News Updates.

The website has a clean, modern design, with links to pages on the main menu and in the footer, for easy access.

I’m grateful to them for asking us to take on this project for them.

Cyan Care Recruitment

I was thrilled to build the new website for Cyan Care Recruitment — a dedicated agency that matches registered nurses and care assistants with meaningful roles across Essex, including Romford, Havering, Brentwood, Chelmsford and Basildon.

The site clearly outlines their mission: recruiting compassionate professionals, supporting their growth, and helping care providers find skilled, reliable staff.

Job seekers can register, browse a mix of vacancies, and get personalised support every step of the way. For employers, the site emphasises trust, quality, and efficient sourcing. It’s been a wonderful project bringing their caring ethos and professional service online in a way that’s warm, clear and user-friendly.

Feltwell Cycle Services

This project was a pleasure to work on for a new local business startup in the town of Feltwell, Norfolk.

Feltwell Cycle Services help to fix up customers’ cycles to get them back on the road. They offer full services and cycle maintenance. 

This is a single page website but contains all information requested by the client. The website also has full accessibility built in.

The Activity Connector

It was a pleasure to be asked by Dominic Fenton to construct a new website for him.

Dominic’s vision with The Activity Connector is to inspire and support young people through sport, activity and meaningful connections, combining his over 22 years’ experience in education and youth work.

The site presents his core offerings — consultancy, public speaking engagements, mental health advocacy, video appearances, details of his podcast — and showcases his philosophy and client testimonials.

Dan’s Deli

I was delighted to be asked to put together a smart new website for Barnet-based ‘Dan’s Deli’.

The new website is a refresh of the previous site. It lists the products that are available for purchase, in both ‘category’ and ‘brand’ pages. The site also details the story of Dan’s Deli. The site is also fully accessible for those that require that functionality to help make their browsing easier. 

East Suffolk Interiors

East Suffolk Interiors is a company based in Melton, Suffolk, that specialises in a wide range of home services, including carpentry and joinery, bathroom installations, plumbing and heating, to name a few.

I worked closely with the clients to understand the services they offer and to create a website that accurately detailed the work they do, but also showcase the work they have completed in the form of an extensive image gallery, and images on each ‘Service’ page.

Rose Thorn Landscaping

A Landscape Gardening and Garden Rooms business, Rose Thorn Landscaping serves clients in the London and Essex region.

They offer a bespoke, quality service to their clients. This micro-site was a pleasure to work on. It simply shows the services that they offer to clients and offers a means for potential customers to make contact.

Barney & Paws

Our first ‘big’ e-commerce site. The site for Dog Products brand, ‘Barney and Paws’ was a superb project to work on.

The website showcases all products available within their range, whilst promoting the Barney and Paws brand.

The website allows customers to pay for their orders through traditional methods, in addition to Klarna, Clear Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.  It also features accessibility modes to make the content available to all.

Holly House Business Centre

We were contacted and asked to create a fresh new website for Holly House Business Centre in Chelmsford.

Using some elements of their previous website, we created a fresh new design for the Business Centre which offers serviced offices, virtual offices, and conference room hire to business owners.

The new site was created while the existing site was still ‘Live’. Once completed, the site was then set Live as soon as possible with minimal downtime.

Our Leadership Journey

We recently completed this project, working with Rose Marie Sloan.

Rose is a coach, specialising in training aspiring leaders and managers. The website showcases the work that she has done and what she can offer others in her training sessions.

The website also features a Blog, which will be updated regularly.

MAB Investment Group

Yellow Gecko was pleased to work on this website for MAB Investment Group! The site welcomes visitors with a clean, professional design that smoothly guides you through MAB’s services.

Bright visuals, a crisp navigation menu, and a friendly tone make it easy to explore their projects and get in touch — whether you’re dipping a toe in investment waters or ready to dive in.

Overall, it’s a polished and approachable showcase that reflects MAB’s expertise and global reach, while feeling genuinely user-friendly.

The Garden Rooms Essex

This website was created for a new Garden Rooms business covering the Essex region. The company specialises in Garden Rooms, Conservatories and Orangeries.

This single page site is clear and clear and delivers what the company offers. Potential customers are encouraged to make contact and have a conversation with the company to discuss their requirements.

This was a great project to work on and we wish them every success.

Brenda Scott Virtual Assistant 

Brenda Scott booked in with Yellow Gecko to develop a new website, replacing her current one.

While the website is still on a single page layout, the new site provides lots of information, including the services offered and the pricing.

The new site is easy to follow and displays everything clearly. There are also several ‘calls to action’ throughout.

The Gift Gap

We were pleased to have completed this website for The Gift Gap.

The site showcases a thoughtful gifting platform that helps people find meaningful presents for their loved ones, with a strong focus on creating memorable, personalised gift experiences.

Built with a clean, user-friendly design, the site makes it easy for visitors to browse a curated range of products by occasion or recipient.

From keepsakes to practical items, The Gift Gap aims to close the gap between giving and truly connecting with someone special.

Rebecca Morley Consulting

A project that took just under seven days from enquiry from completion.

Rebecca Morley, the Founder and President of Rebecca Morley Consulting, made contact with me looking for a redesign of her existing website.

All content was provided by the client and I worked to produce a clean, professional design using the Squarespace platform to promote the work that she is doing for communities in the U.S.

Stepping Stones Play and Learn Group

Our first foray into the world of websites for education.

This website was created for Stepping Stones Play and Learn Group based in Colchester, and is a new site to replace their previous website.

The website is comprehensive and contains a wealth of information about the Group and the service they provide to help children with SEND and Non-SEND needs in the Colchester region. 

Paul Kilroe – Pest Control Services Colchester

Paul was looking for a new website for his Pest Control Business. Having only had a single-page website previously, we were able to create a stylish multi-page website which gives details on the services he offers, including information about how he can provide Pest Control Services for the Commercial sector.

A helpful FAQ is also included for viewers to the site get answers to their questions before booking Paul to help with their Pest Control issues.

Hugo Speer

Through the awesome power of referrals, we were approached to produce a new website for actor, Hugo Speer.

Hugo, known to many as a star of The Full Monty, Father Brown, Musketeers, and many others, was looking for a new website to showcase his filmography, biography, and more information about him.

It was a pleasure to work with Hugo on putting this together.

Olivia Lee

We were delighted to be asked by award winning TV personality, Writer, Actress, and Comedian, Olivia Lee, if we could produce a new website for her.

She was looking for something relatively simple, so a single page website was the order of the day.

The website contains information about Olivia, some video clips, gig dates, and information on how she can be contacted. This all sits nicely alongside some bright, eye catching images, and a photo gallery, which shows off her personality.

Andy Bedwell – Editor

A new website for professional film Editor, Andy Bedwell.

Being a video professional, it was key that the website be used as a ‘store front’ for his video work. Video plays automatically on the front page, and then through each of the sections on the ‘My Work’ page, showcasing some of the projects that he has worked on. These then link through to pages about each piece of work.

The website is smart in design but to the point and showcases the best work that Andy has produced in his career so far.

The Sovereign Marketer

The founder of The Sovereign Marketer, Jack Waza, came to us as he was looking for anew landing/sign-up page for his latest Digital Marketing venture.

We worked closely with Jack to produce a modern, clean design which promoted his latest venture – a Digital Marketing Subscription Mailing List with a free video giveaway to subscribers entitled “9 Fatal Errors Most Online Marketers Make and How You Can Easily Avoid Them”.

The website also includes integration with the Aweber mailing platform which manages the email subscriptions.

Phol Gin

Award-winning restaurant, Brohmon, based in Stansted, are known for thir innovations. I was contacted by Karim Ullah, the founder of Brohmon, and he asked me if I would be able to create a new mini-site to help promote his latest product – Phol Gin.

This site includes details of the product, along with information about the restaurant and how Phol Gin came to be. Make sure you check out the video of Karim’s debut appearance in the GB News studio as he made cocktails for Michael Portillo live on air!

The Hub Farm Shop & Light Bites

The Hub is a farm shop and eatery, based just outside of Chelmsford in Essex. They were looking for a new website.

I worked closely with the owners as it was key that the message of Family was portrayed through the site. The new website does just that. It includes details on The Hub, the services it provides, and most importantly, the menus of the food that they offer.

The website also includes customer reviews. This is very important for a business of this nature.

Pryde Plumbing and Heating Services

Based in Ipswich, Pryde Plumbing and Heating Services are an established plumbing company, that has been serving the Ipswich community for many years.

Although they already had a website in place, the business owner was looking for a fresh look. The content of the site is largely what was on their previous website, but we gave it a modern design. The client also provided some new images for the front page (under our suggestion), to show off the company van, and extra images were supplied for the gallery.

We also made sure to keep the Gas Safe Register number in clear view. The website also includes a button on the menu which initiates a phone call, so people can phone the company easily in case of an emergency.

The Cuts – Unisex Hairdressers

A new website for a new Hairdressers and Barber Shop in Balham, South London,.

We worked closely with the salon owner to ensure the website contained details of the services they offer to both male and female clients. This is all presneted in a tidy pricing table.

The website also includes a gallery of hairstyles, details of the location of the salon, including details of the nearest Public Transport access and information on how customers can book.

The client also provided us with photographs of the salon which are very important so clients can see what the place is like. We suggested images that might suit best and they sent them over to us. 

Chris Bedwell Photography

Now based in Ipswich, Chris Bedwell Photography provides photography of all kinds. Services include Wedding and Event Photography, through to photography for business.

The new website showcases all of these types of photography. It also includes an extensive gallery/portfolio of ‘Real Weddings’ which showcases a selection of images for a variety of weddings.

For peace of mind, customer testimonials are also visible for visitors to view. These are fed in thanks to an integration with Google Business Profile.
